The brasserie of the Estate

The cosy and warm heart of the Kasteelhoeve

During the day from 10:00 to 16:00, the Taveerne offers day guests the opportunity to enjoy a tasty lunch or a nice cup of coffee. The Taveerne can also be used as a party and dinner space.

The Pronck Room is a very versatile space and offers plenty of natural light through the use of large space. Imagine yourself in the middle of nature overlooking the beautiful green trees of the Estate. This versatile and high space offers possibilities from party nights, to dinners with a large number of guests, and all kinds of meetings. Curtains allow the room to be reduced to any size.

A smaller space with lemon trees with arched windows looking out onto the Baron z'n Hof. A lovely space for a gathering such as a drinks reception or informal meeting.

The Castle of Geldrop Castle Estate

Geldrop castle has a beautiful park surrounded by an English landscape garden and a walled vegetable garden with orchard. The estate is located in the center of Geldrop, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the valley of the meandering Kleine Dommel. The first residents we encounter in the archives are Philip and Jan van Geldrop, who built the castle around 1350. For the next two centuries, the castle was owned by the Van Horne family, but it was hardly inhabited. Around 1600, Amandus van Horne settled in a residential tower right next to the castle. In 1616 he had the medieval ruins renovated. This building with the characteristic stepped gables now forms the middle part of the current castle; On the canal side the year can still be found in the wall anchors. Around 1870, the castle was extensively renovated by sugar baron Hubertus Paulus Hoevenaar to approximately its current situation. After the last resident died, the estate was purchased by the municipality in 1974. Since 1996, the estate has been owned and managed by the Geldrop Castle Estate Foundation. In this former home of the baron and baroness, you and your guests can completely forget about time. In the castle you will find 7 attractive rooms, each with their own style and design. The beautiful rooms always give your meeting a special appearance.

The heart of the Castle

A chic room with classical elements

In the drawing room (now the wedding room), the Baron and Baroness used to receive their guests. And it shows, this room has a beautiful noble look.

Look out over the Estate

This atmospheric period room is perfect for a reception for up to 40 people or a meeting by the fireplace. With the lovely square balcony overlooking the English landscape garden.

With beautiful Steinway grand piano

The Blue Room is traditionally the Castle's dining room. A nice room to combine with the Wedding Room or the Panorama Room, or to dine separately with a small group. There is a beautiful black grand piano in this room which can optionally be hired, tuned and all.

A noble gentleman's room

The Baron's room with its dark red walls is a true gentlemen's room pure and simple. Perfect to dress up for your wedding, or fun to organise a ‘murder’ dinner with an intimate group. Possibly combined with the Keucken through the vault door.
