Restaurant de Theetuin is located in the heart of the Kasteelhoeve on the Geldrop Castle Estate. In de Theetuin we work with fresh products every day and you can taste it! From Tuesday to Sunday you can enjoy delicious coffee with good pastries in this attractive location, or an extensive sharing lunch. For example, the home-baked apple nut pie is a favorite with many of our regular guests!


We have a lovely sunny terrace, fully equipped with a section with a stretch tent canopy (waterproof) and a section with shade cloths. The terrace overlooks the beautiful English flower garden.


We have a special sharing lunch concept where you choose individual items to put together your own lunch. For example, a salad bowl with mackerel rillette and crayfish, combined with a glass of fresh soup of the day. Or our delicious brioche BLT? We are happy to advise you on a nice combination of lunch dishes!


We also have a nice children's menu for our little guests, including melting pancakes and banana.

Arrangements

In addition to à la carte, you can also go to our restaurant for a luxurious baron banquet package or an extensive high tea. Especially ideal for groups. You can sit back and enjoy all the delicious (lunch) dishes from our kitchen! Of course, we are also happy to take your dietary requirements into account.


Our restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. *. We also remain open on these days during the winter period. On request we can extend our opening hours for a group reservation, for example.


*The months of April to October are the high season for our weddings, so we may close at 3:30 PM instead of 4:00 PM. If this is difficult for you, it is best to call in advance. We can be reached by telephone from Monday to Sunday on: 040 7874561

The farewell & togetherness / condolence

After the death of a loved one, many things have to be arranged and decided. After all, a personal & special farewell also helps in processing the loss. Whether it concerns an intimate condolence after the funeral or the funeral itself, we are happy to advise you on this. You can always make an appointment with us to discuss the options. Arranging a farewell party at Geldrop Castle Estate can take place in the Kasteelhoeve or in one of the beautiful rooms of the Castle.

Would you like to have a nice lunch in the Tea Garden or have a glass of wine on the terrace and be assured of a spot? Then you can of course make a reservation in advance. Weekend days in particular are reserved quickly and it is advisable to book a few weeks in advance to be assured of a table. We look forward to receiving your reservation!

During the weekend we often organize weddings and events, which means we have to close the Brasserie earlier. We try to inform you as best as possible about this. It may happen that due to a last minute change we call you to discuss an earlier closure. (By earlier we mean closing at 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM instead of 4:00 PM)

Looking for a nice gift? In the Tea Garden we sell nice gift vouchers where you can determine the value yourself. Would you like to give a nice package as a gift or a voucher worth a certain amount? Everything is possible!


We have sometimes sent gift vouchers by post, but unfortunately that did not always work out, so we now only sell the gift vouchers in the brasserie.


You can buy a gift voucher in the brasserie De Theetuin. The brasserie is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
